MEETINGS: Meetings are held quarterly on the 3rd Saturday of February, May, August and November at the rear of the premises of Better Hearing Australia, 5 High Street, Prahran, Victoria. The A.G.M. is always held in August.

All members receive a quarterly newsletter reporting details of the previous meeting and advising them of the forthcoming meeting, guest speaker and other details. The contributions from the members of our Association are most important to the quality of the newsletter. We will always endeavour to advise members of important news relating to other Associations both in Australia and Overseas.

The general format of the meetings consists of a report of committee activities during the previous 3 months and future plans. Any input from members present is both welcome and desirable.

We also have a "Trade Table" at our meetings, which offers, at a reasonable price, a varied range of products donated by members. Proceeds from this and our quarterly raffle will be donated to our Research Fund or otherwise as the Committee may determine.

After a pleasant afternoon tea, our Guest Speaker will cover a specific problem associated with Acoustic Neuromas. Our range of Guest Speakers includes members of our Medical Advisory Board. The talks are varied but always very interesting.


SERVICES AVAILABLE: We have video and audio tapes available for loan. A variety of booklets are for sale. Copies of back-dated newsletters are also available upon request. Lois Hart's Thesis "Making Sense of the Acoustic Neuroma Experience" is also available for hire or sale upon request.
