Upcoming ANAA Meetings

Acoustic Neuroma Association meetings are held in each Australian state throughout the year. The meetings are an opportunity for members and their families to come together, share information and hear about the latest developments in Acoustic Neuroma treatment. At each state meeting, an invited guest speaker gives a presentation on a topic related to acoustic neuromas. An update of the Association's activities is provided along with a time for members to share information and ask questions over lunch.

With all COVID restrictions lifted, we are now organising face to face member meetings in all states. Please monitor this page for specific arrangements for individual state meetings.

Can Anyone Attend

Any one with an interest in Acoustic Neuromas can attend our meetings. If you like what you find, please consider supporting the association by becoming a member. You can download the membership form from the Membership page.

Message from Fiona – Greetings Tasmanians, I hope you are all managing your diagnosis, treatment, and recovery from acoustic neuroma well. Have a wonderful festive season with family and friends. It was lovely for Linden (our President) and myself to meet some of you in-person last July in Hobart for sharing of stories. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold a face-to-face meeting in Hobart this year but have a plan to have one on 13th April 2024. Save the date. We hope to meet as many of you, as possible, then. More details closer to the date.

Victorian State Meetings
Greetings to all those Victorians with an acoustic neuroma. It was fantastic to see members and those interested in our association return to face-to-face meetings at the Blackburn meeting in July and look forward to seeing you again on the 11th November lunch, sharing of stories and resources and an “in person” presentation from a professional speaking about facial palsy. The informal chatting and sharing of your experiences through diagnosis, treatment and recovery is inspirational and helpful to all. No one, fully understands about the condition unless they have experienced having an acoustic neuroma. It would be great to see more at the face-to-face meeting. All welcome. It is planned to zoom the presentation to members across Australia.
– Fiona Vic SCO.
