Future ANAA meetings on hold
Hello fellow members,
I do hope that this email finds you safe and well. I just wanted to let you all know that your ANAA committee met, and while restrictions are starting to lift around Australia, at this point in time, the Association would prefer to err on the side of caution and continue to delay our state meetings. The health and well being of our members continues to be our number #1 priority.
We will continue to monitor restrictions, and will make decisions state by state as to when meetings will resume.
Take care,
Linden Kelleher
ANAA National President

we are delighted to have this opportunity to welcome you to the Acoustic Neuroma Association Australia (ANAA) and to introduce you to the many facets of support which the organisation offers.
This support is available to those newly diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma, family members, professionals and others seeking to know more about Acoustic Neuroma brain tumours. Our support is available to anyone living anywhere in Australia. The Committee, State Contact Officers, Newsletter Editor and Website Administrator are volunteers from across Australia and each person brings a high degree of enthusiasm and commitment to the role. Each person gives generously of their time and skills to maintain the association and provide support to members.
We delight in celebrating members' good news stories and achievements and make them a feature of each quarterly newsletter, detailing the journey from diagnosis to treatment and recovery.
Across Australia there is a richness of Acoustic Neuroma information, be it medical and psychological research or auxiliary support services. We are fortunate to benefit from this expertise with presenters volunteering their time to address meetings, present research and discuss matters raised by those in attendance.
You are encouraged to explore our website and we hope you gain a better understanding of what an Acoustic Neuroma brain tumour is and its possible treatments. We know you will gain a sense of the many ways in which ANAA supports our members and their families across Australia, as we have done since the association’s inception in 1984.
We are very fortunate that each ANAA volunteer committee member and state contact officer is a person who has lived with an Acoustic Neuroma experience. They bring their know how and expertise to support both you and your family as you take your Acoustic Neuroma journey.
